 | "Dead Reckoning" by Clint Mansell seriously inspired me to write this poem. I've started to do a little rhyming, and let me tell you...it's more challenging, trying to find right words that rhyme but don't sound lame, but it's definitely better! It's really fun. And I think this shows the end and how in the end it is not money and politics that is going to keep us alive. Even now, we have to help those around us because they are fighting a hard battle like you. | | This post has been awarded 15 stars by 3 readers. |
Trying to fight this endless war The rich will die, so will the poor. Trying to fight an endless fight All in the blackest depths of night.
Trying to end the suffering and pain Of this fight that has no gain. But you fight it, as you always will You will make it.
Trying to fight your endless tears Shuddering away from all your fears; But we will make it As we see fit.
And in the end, the darkest night …We will live.
