Boredom

This post was written in 2 minutes.
I'm learning about the Greek myths in English. I love how they refer to things like Fate, Hope, Misery and Love as people. I've never seen Boredom, though, so I wrote this while I was extremely bored. Enjoy! :D

Back to that black turreted castle
where Boredom sits on high
on a throne with no color,
his face forgettable instantly.
He smiles slightly at his newest guests,
as he loves company, whomever they are.
The long journey tires the weak
but the strong prevail like heroes,
coming and joining those before them
outside in bright daylight.

A great mystery novel by the lady herself: Agatha Christie pulls off a sneaky ending that will startle and delight you.
