A firm resolve that never could be swayed, A faithful heart, a steadfast, patient love; A mortal signpost pointing toward the way Of faithfulness like that of God above. Compassion gives its strength to all her days; A fond affection fills her every deed, As she, with godly pity in her ways, Surrenders of herself for other's needs. Her wisdom is the fruit of well lived years; The words upon her lips are wisest truth. And with a softly spoken word she steers The foolish child, and guides the wayward youth. Why celebrate just one among all days? One day could not suffice to sing her praise.
