Brave Justice lifts her hand aloft and holds
A balanced scale to measure verity,
And blinders shut her eyes as truth unfolds -
Dispassioned, yet with bold temerity.

So Death, as well, with dark and sightless eyes,
Ignores the pleas of poor and wealthy souls,
Unbiased, steals the foolish and the wise,
And drags them all to Hades' stormy shoals.

How odd to raise for Justice blind applause,
Yet rail against Death's blindly reaching claws.

A wonderful fantasy series set in modern England, but filled with elements of Arthurian legends.
