Looking ahead

Posted by Sara Taylor, Oct 4, 2008. 438 views. ID = 1840
This post was written in 6 minutes.
So I was sitting in the very back of my dad's van on the floor (due to lack of seats [due to moving my dad outta his old apartment]), and this song\poem (however you look at it) just popped in my head... it's a lil lame... but if you have the melody... the tunes rather catchy ;) =P lol. It lacks a bit of creativity... but, due to lack of time, I haven't been writing much poetry lately, so I gotta get back into the mode :P

Sitting in the back window looking at where I have been
not looking ahead, just looking at where I was then.
not looking forward, looking backwards - I don't know where I'm goin'
But I think it's high time to turn my head
and as I'm looking ahead
I know what's in store
and as I grasp a new perspective
I just wanna see more!
I don't care what's behind me
I don't care what's in my past
it's the things ahead that matter
it's the things ahead that'll last
