Mother Cosmos sees the World polluted,
ravaged by a creature living there.
Clever creature, stupid creature
can’t see what it’s doing
bringing on its self-destruction
won’t see what it’s doing
doesn’t care.
Father Time observes all things around him
as history repeats age after age.
‘Don’t worry, dear,’ he says to Mother Cosmos,
‘for after all the World is just a stage.’
