 | This is just awful, but it is the result of reading Douglas's Hunting Season. Roadkill is quite a problem here. | | This post has been awarded 12 stars by 3 readers. |
Well, I read this thing today, yeh, and like this moose was telling about his method. Now, I think I’ve been doin’ that somewhat instinctively—I guess that’s why I’m still here. Those young greys f’rinstance have No Idea! Not a clue. I’ve watched them lotsa times. They see it coming and they just stand there with stupid gormless looks on their faces and when The Thing is getting really scary and close they make their move—but get this—the move can be in any direction. True! It’s just random, I swear. I’ve even seen big reds, and it makes me wonder how they got to be the age they are, they must’ve had some experience with the tracks and The Things, yet they still do The Leap, mind you The Things take a fair wack of damage when they hit an old man roo. Road pizza—I guess it’s lunch fer someone.
