So how does one live in the great frozen north
Please ease my mind, and yes do come forth
With snow on the ground and ice in the trees
It must be like living in a giant deep freeze
Where I live we have winter oh that is for sure
When it drops below 50 such shivers I endure
But how does one work when it goes below zero
To survive a short drive makes one feel like a hero

Oh, please tell me,
how you can endure
to live in the south
without a flake of snow!
With no shining ice
coating every twig
and no bright spring
to wait for eagerly?

I find it so boring to live in the land of the sun
We have but one season just nothing but fun
No winter, no fall, no not even a spring
And when we have clouds no rain do they bring
