When you're use to your family it hard to be alone

The wife and the kids are away for the day
I've got nothing to do and it's time to play
It's a day just for me to do nothing at all
Just relax, take it easy this will be such a ball
It feels almost naughty and yet so delicious
And for my soul it will be quite nutritious
I could read that book that's been on the shelf
I can eat what I want, alone by myself
I should make a list of all the things I can do
And then whittle it down to keep just a few
I wish the wife were here to help me decide
I know with her wisdom I have always relied
Now where did my son put the new Madden Game?
Gee playing without him is just not the same
I don't like doing nothing I'm bored out of my mind
I can't believe its still morning, I feel so confined
It's so quiet in here I can't even think
I'm use to the kids and life on the brink
I'm missing my family I miss them a ton
I thought being alone would be more like fun
