Vanity, vanity, all is such vanity!
Life is a journey of endless inanity,
Not to be wasted in foolish endeavor:
So says a book that is both wise and clever.
Where in the world could you find such a treasure?
Sad but intriguing beyond any measure!
Learn of the cycles of life in its pages;
All that is known has existed for ages.
Now I'll conclude with a fact that's non-fiction;
Surely you'll laugh at this strange contradiction:
Ponder the fact that its wise kingly author
Actually stated that books are a bother.
