Faster and faster I race and run,
I don't know when I shall stop.
Round and round I circle and spin,
Until I'm sure that I must drop.
When can I stop this foolish running?
My legs are starting to ache.
Don't you know I've done my best?
Please, won't you let me take a break?
Each night I turn my gaze to heaven,
And I wish upon my favorite star -
That one day soon it would be a crime
To own a gerbil powered car.
