O! Warted prince, with bulging eyes
Is there a king behind thy cruel disguise?
With noble words, and songs unsung,
Trapped behind amphibian tongue?

And should some maid, grotesque but true,
With love's embrace thy form renew,
Would thou, with love and gentle grace,
Look past the mask that veils her face?

Heh heh...I really think this is my favorite of the stuff you've posted so far...and even though it's "silly", I think it raises a very pertinent question about the state of human relationships.

A book I find fascinating, even though I completely disagree with its philosophy!
