O! Warted prince, with bulging eyes Is there a king behind thy cruel disguise? With noble words, and songs unsung, Trapped behind amphibian tongue?
And should some maid, grotesque but true, With love's embrace thy form renew, Would thou, with love and gentle grace, Look past the mask that veils her face?
