If soda came not in a can but a box, And if a bell never tolls but instead it knocks, If winged elephants traveled around in flocks, And chickens came down with the human pox, If a washing machine ever was lost in my socks, And if human furs were worn by a fox, If thirteen was highest on all of the clocks, And every mime and mute gave motivational talks, Then life would become a strange paradox, While the universe itself sits by and mocks.
