Have you even read dibs in search of self?

Hey man, thanks for the comment--I appreciate it. I guess they are some interesting questions. I'm not sure if I still feel that way or not, but I was searching when I wrote the poem, for sure. I think sometimes we really do need to have faith, and not question it, however. we'll see, right? haha.

yeah, I had a pretty good time. Luckily the corndog thing was somebody else though

Yeah, I wear glasses. I never could get over the idea of sticking stuff in my eyes long enough to wear contacts.

Because I forgot what time it was. Also, the Piccadilly line was closed due to someone throwing themselves under the train. Apparently it happens quite a lot and it tends to back things up and make everything more crowded.

Not yet. Just eight more days to go. I hope all the stuff I bought will fit in my suitcase, I'd hate to have to leave stuff behind.

Yes. All the plugs are different and my camera charger doesn't work but my computer does. Go figure. I'll have to buy batteries here. Hope they sell double A's in Scotland.

Oh, and the fish and chips are really good.

There was a five hundred dollar scholarship and I know there are other scholarships available that would have payed for the whole thing but I wasn't eligible for them. I wound up having to get a student loan for most of it.
Luckily my dad was nice and bought me the plane ticket and a nice set of luggage; otherwise it looks like I'm going to be paying for this trip for the next ten or twenty years.

On the bright side, if the plane crashes on the way back and I die all my student loans are forgiven. (I'm a bit of a pessimist but I know that isn't likely to happen; I'm not nearly famous enough.)

I was wondering how long it would take someone to figure that out. I'm leaving for Scotland on the 27th. I'll be staying for six weeks for study abroad with my college. I'll probably post some stuff while I'm over there. Should be fun, just got new luggage and fisihed packing today.

Thanks. I'm glad to be going. I just hope the swine flu I heard about in the news doesn't cause problems.

There are a few clouds floating around here too, but only on the west side of the campus, like there's a barrier or something.

Funny, I didn't catch that. You think it has anything to do with time zone differences?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, it's supposed to be nice out today.

Thanks but don't worry, the snow went away as quickly as it came.

The snow came back today but at least it's not below zero anymore like last month.

That's great, the temp here dropped down so that by the afternoon the rain was turning back to snow :(

If we don't get another storm all our snow should be gone soon. The rain took care of all of it but a few giant parking lot snowplow piles.

I live in Northern Minnesota in the Iron Range area (yah), but at the moment I'm staying on campus at the University of Wisconsin Superior so we get that freaky lake effect weather.
