Snowfall

This post was written in 3 minutes.
Something I wrote years back while staring out my window watching the snow come down.

Soon it will be snowing;
The sky, it told me so.
The wind is gently blowing;
It's cold outside, I know.
Waiting for flakes to fall,
Gazing through frosted pane,
I hear the winter's call.
I stay in, just the same,
Until the snow comes down,
Gently floating through the air,
Landing thickly on the ground;
The world is white and fair.
Before it has a chance to cease,
I will go out knowing;
The world and I are at peace,
While outside it is snowing.

 Doug's Library

A wonderful fantasy series set in modern England, but filled with elements of Arthurian legends.
