Familiar Stranger

Posted by Sylvan Sylph, Aug 24, 2008. 295 views. ID = 1636
This post was written in 5 minutes.
Sometimes I feel like I know someone so well, and yet I find myself wondering if I know them at all. Perhaps all I know is a name and a face which only hide all the things I really want to know that make a person who they are. Sometimes I feel the same way about the places I visit.

I went.
You came.
Chicago.
City that is not a city,
City that has lost itself.

Where are you?
Wandering amidst the music
and the faded stars.

Who are you?
Stranger,
with a familiar face
and a name I know.
