I'm beautiful, in the waning light, Like I've always longed to be. The cynicism, the tiredness Have all been locked away. Worries and hurriedness Belong unto the day. I can forget them now; I've always wished I could. Just like you tell me how You really think I should. All of the frowns have gone Replaced now with a smile. It may not last for long; They'll come back once in awhile. But I'm beautiful, just for tonight. How I wish that you could see.
