I stare at her
The pop-sensation.
Everyone wants
To be like her,
Including me.
She’s who I wanna be.
Beautiful long hair,
Blue eyes,
Perfect skin..
They’re all no match
For dirty-blonde,
Hazel eyes,
Freckled skin.
She’s who I wanna be.
And now she stares
Back at me,
Taunting me that she’s
Famous.
She’s who I wanna be.
Now ten years later,
She still stares back.
But not the girl
From before,
But me.
I’m who I wanna be.
On the face of all the
Magazines,
Little girls stare at me
As I once did.
I’m who they wanna be.
