To fly among the clouds up high
I sometimes wonder why can't I?
I could take part in such a thing
and flit about with feathered wings.
But gravity can seem so strong
and building wings might take too long.
Alas, I shall not leave the earth
for more than a few hours worth
to ride inside a metal can
not really flying, still just human

Nice poem. :) The first line confused me...

"To fly among the coulds up high"

I assume you meant "clouds?" Although "to fly among the 'coulds'" would be an interesting metaphorical beginning to a poem!
