The meaning is lost
When the feeling is tossed
Around through the mind,
Until I can find
An adjective that seems
To embody what it means,
And arrange every phrase
In an order that stays
Somewhat true to what I
Thought inspired this rhyme;
Until I realize
And admit with a sigh,
I've strayed well off base
From what I intended in the first place.
