I have a nice four-legged friend,
and I'm content with that.
He is unique, and that's because
he is both dog and cat.

He's not too big and not too small,
and has the softest fur.
When we go outside to play, he barks,
but in the house he purrs.

He follows orders when he should,
and likes to run through puddles;
but then he'll sweetly rub his head
against you as he cuddles.

If you have mice inside your house,
he'll kill them without a sound -
and then he'll take them to the yard
and bury them underground.

He is a strange four-legged friend,
but I'm content with that.
Whether in the house or out of doors,
you'd really love my Dat!
