At first, his playful, forward nature eluded me - but soon the warmth was emanating from behind his golden, shiny locks, and I noticed a growing smile on his glowing and eager countenance. I began to catch glimpses of love in his sparkling eyes, and a deepening excitement whenever my person entered into his peripheral vision.
Truly, there was something there between us - small, untapped, and easily overlooked at first, but something with great potential. Indeed, this golden relationship became so much more. He has proven himself a caring, sensitive, beautiful soul. On top of that, he's the most loyal dog I've ever had.
