When did the dolorous chill disappear?
For a moment the senses are open and clear,
To discern a new sentiment caught on the breeze,
Of the green in the fields and the buds on the trees.

This morning the ice has been melting in song,
Opening petals that were closed for so long.
Who is the master, and what is the cause?
The Lion's ascension, the tread of his paws.
