For every time you acknowledge fallen dust, And see us in your eyes just as we are, And love us just the same no matter where We run or why we turn away,
For all the things we have and never see, Disasters that could have happened But never did; for all the good that could Have passed us by, you reached out and gave...
For every molecule that works its way Into the truth of this whole world you've planned; You give us grace to triumph every day, And peace so deep, we do not understand.
For family who loves us as we are, You gave as just a human metaphor Of something that surpasses comprehension, The love of God encompasses so much more.
