Roads in Maine and roads in New York give you vastly different perspectives...

The twisting roads in Maine wind round-about,
Between the rolling hill and mountain top;
Pragmatic builders took the lowest ground,
So those who share the roads look ever up.

Not so the roads in hilly New York state;
Quixotic builders dreamed on grander scale
And carved their roads into the highest hills
So we look down on sweet pastoral vale.
