I wanted a vacation.
When you stand in the same spot hour after hour, day after day, month after month, life can get pretty tedious.
I wanted a vacation.
When the kids treat you with disrespect, throwing snowballs at you while you're not looking and laughing maniacally when their projectiles cause the snow to fly everywhere, it's time for a change of pace.
I wanted a vacation.
The worst is when the dogs decide to do their business on your bright red galoshes, and the birds perch on your head, pecking away at your dangling carrot nose.
I wanted a vacation.
But when my flight got diverted to Honolulu, that was simply the last straw.

Comments Maine Character Feb 20, 2010 | I think that maby you could have added a little more? I really enjoyed it, especially the bird part. ~Posted by Maine Character, Feb 20, 2010 |
