In my dream I floated without effort,
Skimmed so swiftly over passing people,
Gathered courage from the chuffing breezes,
Soared on winds above majestic steeples.

Breathing deeply of the sweet air's fragrance,
Let it linger in my earth-bound lungs, let
Freedom fill my wide, capacious heart, 'til
I awake and crash upon my pallet.
