Reaching out to touch the flames,
Parabolic liquid plumes
Rise amidst occluding smoke
And metamorphose into fumes,
Or bravely journey through the fire,
Downward drift in misty haze,
Touch the frozen concrete earth,
Then form a slick and icy glaze.

A wonderful picture book that will keep children entranced for many hours as they try to find words beginning with each letter of the alphabet.
