 | A church down in southern Maine asked me if I would write a song for their missions conference, based on John 4:35.

There is a stream that gently flows
Spreading hope throughout a dry and barren land
For all who thirst, there's water for their soul,
A living hope, springing up,
Unto eternal life
Lift up your eyes and look to the fields
See the harvest awaiting

There is a hunger that grows within
For the bread of life that ever satisfies
The Father seeks for desperate starving souls
To Worship Him in spirit and
To worship Him in truth
