Writing Prompt: National Poetry Writing Month - Week One

Writing prompt April is National Poetry Writing Month, so we will devote this month to poetry writing prompts.

Let's start off on a light-hearted note, with limericks. Limericks have 5 lines, with lines 1,2, and 5 rhyming, and lines 3 and 4 rhyming. The meter is generally anapestic, and they can sometimes be found in children's literature, often silly in tone. Write a limerick on a topic of your choosing. (And remember, although in some spheres it may be considered a requirement of limericks that they have obscene content, for this site your limerick must not be off-color!)
