Writing Prompt: Shamrocks

Writing prompt Saint Patrick used the three-leafed shamrock as an object lesson to teach about the Christian doctrine of the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). In doing this, he was following in the footsteps of Jesus, who also used ordinary objects in nature, like fig trees, fish, and mountains to teach lessons.

Pick a naturally occurring object (plant, land formation, mineral, animal) and use it as the basis for an object lesson.
