Writing Prompt: Animal Poems

Writing prompt Ogden Nash was well known for his silly animal poems. One of his most well known is The Octopus: "Tell me, O Octopus, I begs / Is those things arms, or is they legs? / I marvel at thee, Octopus; / If I were thou, I'd call me Us."

Pick an animal and write a silly poem about that animal. Like Ogden Nash's poems, it doesn't have to be very long. Some of his poems were only two lines long! ("I don't mind eels / Except as meals")
