Writing Prompt: Blank Verse

Writing prompt Sometimes people get so caught up in rhyming that they forget another very important part of a poem: its rhythm.

Write a blank verse poem on a subject of your choosing. Blank verse means: no rhymes at all. Take this time to focus on a consistent meter. You might use anapestic tetrameter, iambic pentameter, or another meter. Need help with the rhythm? When you're finished, post a comment asking people to leave suggestions for you!
