Good morning, writers! It has been a long time since I've posted anything in the FMOF news blog, and I thought it was about time I remedied that situation! I have some good news for this morning. I'm quite pleased to announce that we have a new moderator at Fifteen Minutes of Fiction.
Laura has been a member on this site from the very beginning. In fact, I do believe she was a member on the site before it was even open to the public. She has been an active writer since then, and has added some entertaining and also thought provoking poetry and prose to the site. (One of my favorites, which I think everyone should read, is this: To Paul and Art)
In addition to being an active member on the site, Laura was also one of the four editors who worked to put together an Anthology of the site's best writing a couple years ago.
If you think of me as the "Evil Dictator" you should think of her as a more "Benevolent Dictator" - she's much nicer than me, but her word is still law. ;)
This brings the moderating team of the site up to three now:
Douglas WOW Laura
I have to conclude by saying that I am very grateful for the high quality of members we have on this site, who are very careful to post within the stated guidelines of the site, who are courteous to one another, and who make being a moderator of this site one of the easiest jobs on the internet!
We now return you to your regularly scheduled writing!
