Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Mr. Raven on May 16, 2009
"Deep down the rabbit hole..."

Courage

A moment of solitude. Perfect stillness of the air, yellow sand on the beach, dead calm water in the superblue lake. A moment of rest that allows to focus on the sound of the beating heart, on the flow of thoughts, impressions, emotions deep deep inside, at the very core.

You suddenly realize there are so many of them! Wherever you turn, new subworlds open their gates in front of you, inviting you to enter into their wild gardens and follow paths known and unknown... This stunning variety is so intensive you feel like turning your sight away, just as sometimes you turn your eyes away from the blazing sun. But this should not be done.

So you plunge even deeper to see what is behind and under. There you can feel some complicated constructs, structures that might let you touch at least a part of the answer to the ultimate question: "Who am I?".

You know this zone so well... black, silver, chrome core, like a sanctuary, hides an even deeper treasure - one that should never be discovered by any other human: The Emptiness.
