I Dream

I Dream of someone loving me, I dream of someone there,
I dream of someone helping me, and not just stop and stare,

I dream of someone lighting the way or being my candles flame,
I dream of someone being my rainbow after sorrows rain,

I dream of someone lifting me up whenever I can't reach,
and when I lost my step, They'll gladly guide and teach,

I dream of someone being my window, and washing it when it's foggy and unclear,
and when I lose control, they'll grab the wheel and steer,

I dream of someone making me sharp when life gets dull and boring,
and when I'm down as far as below the sea, into the sky they'll take me soring!

I dream of someone being there, and when I'm wandering they'll hold me tight,
and being unseen colors in a world of black and white,

I dream of someone being my step whenever I can't climb,
I dream of them being my ears and eyes when I'm deaf and blind,

I dream of someone being my ease in a world of unending pain,
and they'll be my peace and comfort when life just isn't tame,

I dream of when the sun strikes me down, they'll be the shade that shields,
and whenever life gets crowded, they'll be wide open fields,

I dream of when I'm being accused, they'll be there to defend,
and when life gets so hard, on them I can depend!

So I'm waiting here so patiently for them to come along,
it'll be a dream come true, like finding music to the song.
