National Poetry Writing Month: Grab Bag Poem
Wonderful milky cheese,that melts in your mouth.
Red simmering sauce tossed into the soft white dough,
With peperoni, a plenty,
of meaty delight.
Filling, but not suffering.
Pizza is glorious.
Rosemead Blvd,
the name of my residence,
Rose meaning red,
like the simmering sauce,
of a wonderful pizza.
It's a short drive or a long walk,
but I can get it any time.
My name day is celebrated with two food related outings.
Once in the day, usually pizza.
It is a favorite.
A staple.
Two siblings I share,
both enjoy pizza,
as much I do.
