"Periods of snow, mainly before 4pm. High near 29. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming north. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible. "

Sad, huh?

lol. We've only got about another foot coming tonight, where I come from. And I've heard rumors of another big storm on Tuesday, next week. :-(

Sigh, I wish I were in Maine right now. I love those kinds of winters, and I haven't seen one in years.

One of three choices here:

You are a very sick girl.

You think snow is all fun and games and haven't had to spend the hours and days of shovelling that those of us here in Maine have had to endure this winter.

You are still young.

*sigh* I wish I was back in NY
Living in NC I have seen a dusting of snow so far this winter, and it didn't last an hour! it is sad, and then the temperature fluctuates from a high of 30 to a high of 60. if it would stay one general temperature it would be better, or snow for a day and let me enjoy it!

Man, you guys are so lucky. Down here, it's only snowed once since the school year started, and that was over Thanksgiving.

To all of you who wish you were here—I wish you could be
here too. It would be great to have help snow blowing,
scooping, and shoveling.
Actually, I can understand your point of view, since I was
young once. Now I tend to side with a friend of my son,
who lives about an hour from Myrtle Beach, SC.

We recently e-mailed some pictures to my son so that he
could see how much snow we had in our yard. When he
showed the pictures to his best friend, the response was an
astounded, “Why would anyone live there?”

Gotta love that southern viewpoint.

Occasionally I print stuff off this site to read to my church's youth group (most of the time they seem to enjoy it.) So this afternoon, for kicks I was printing off this poem (not that it's tough to memorize or anything). And I noticed, it's actually two poems in one.

I'm tired of moving tons of snow
Every other day or so.
