One fine morning, I stepped outside,
And felt a gentle breeze,
That ebbed and flowed, just like a tide,
While wafting through the trees.

It wasn’t long before the sun
Rose high into my view,
In haste to finish up his run
Before the day was through.

As he wore down, the evening came
And forced the day’s retreat.
Tomorrow is a brand new game,
But look for a repeat.
