Guidance Lost
Guidance lostWe walk through the everyday monotony
strolling with our chins held high in an
naive attempt to conquer the world
just to get struck down by unemployment and debt
then there are those that have horrid luck
even the simplest tasks of just getting to our minuscule
destination is impossible
fame, fornication, fantasy everyone wants some
too afraid to fly and lost in the message of constant failure
but maybe it is from not asking the right questions
i do not want it all just a chance to fly
a chance to be a better man than yesterday
