The Thirty-Seventh Floor

The lift was stuck on floor thirty seven
Jeff's life was changed forever on that day
Julie had got in at floor eleven
The girl with hair of gold and eyes of grey

The two of them were stuck with no way out
until the lift repair man did appear
Julie, the girl that he was mad about
but had not dared to talk to or be near

the conversation soon began to flow
as Julie found she quite liked Jeff as well
to meet for drinks,they soon arranged to go
their meeting place became a tale to tell
