On having or being a balloon

When I have a balloon
I would let it ride in the air
I would take it everywhere
I would tie it to my chair
To be sure it's always there
my birthday balloon

When I am a balloon
I would rise up high
and fly in the sky
and at least I would try
to find the answer to why
I think I'm a balloon
