Questionable Actions

I turned my unlistening ear
toward her persistently purist drivel.
spouting forth once again...

And knowing a world war was near,
a predetermined outcome, as time would tell.
erupting loudly as before...

I stood firm, more out of disgust than of fear,
until in to the very dirt she did grovel.
lauding a cornet of conquer for the very first time.
