Personality Makeover

Kind, funny, chivalrous, magnanimous. A few of the words to describe the good side of me. I am well liked by almost everyone at school and in the community. It is a blessing to have near to no enemies, and so many friendly faces greet me daily.

Yet sadly friends is all I have, further than friends is something I have failed to grasp. Is it because a girl would not wish to take my hand and go out with me for lunch or to a movie? No, in fact I am great with girls. Some would even say too good; I am a flirt.

Then what is the reason? I am just not assertive enough. I do not grab the chance when I see it, I do not jump on the train that would lead me to glory. I let slip the moments that are sacred. I do not make the decision that must be made. I am timid in that aspect, to go forth and take what could be mine.

Perhaps one day I will grab that chance, and see myself with the girlfriend I could easily have. For the time being, however, I am happy enough , surrounded by friends and the many hugs and good times at dances and alike. Next time I will be ready, poised and assertive.
