The Flow of Time

This post was written in 1 minutes.

The seconds of our lives cascade like raindrops in the showers
And quickly pool and run off into minutes, and then hours.

Descending on, they congregate, becoming brooks and creeks
Of hours and days accumulating, merging into weeks.

Then like a river, months and years flow on into the sea,
And swallowed up, they dissipate into eternity.

Sad but true. The month of November is halfway toward its end as we speak. But my mind's eye has never seen the bleak brevity of our lives with such beautiful imagery. Your play on words cause the idea to be... refreshing.
