Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Estrella LeMar on October 24, 2007

How Life Passes

Years pass swiftly, as if born on the wind.
Going by as a speeding bullet goes by, leaving us wondering how it ever went by so fast.

Life is like a river's waters, always going past, never staying in the same place.
No matter how many times you touch the river's waters, you never touch the same water twice.

Each drop of watter is like a second, it goes by so fast; we should always take time out of our busy schedule each day, to savour the time we have.

The waters of life sometimes have a bitter taste, while other times are as sweet as honey, yet at other times is tastless, lifeless and dull.

For indeed, life is full of bad times, leaving bitter memories, but life is also full of good times, leaving memories filled with happiness and joy; yet life is sometimes lifeless, as if you are stuck in time; dull and boring.

May your memories be sweet, filled with happiness and joy.
