nothing and everything is profound

I don't know what I can do or what I can say to make the pain go away.
I still look about me and see beauty everywhere yet I see it through sad eyes.
The questions linger, the thoughts pound..
Nothing, I mean absolutely nothing,
is profound.
Life is simple yet everyone is complex. A great depression in every closet.
Run, run as fast as you can but I just want to stop and hold your hand.
