Illusion

Posted by Aimster du Clarkentine, Sep 10, 2008. 949 views. ID = 1698
This post was written in 0 minutes.
I wrote this in frustration with the fact that as humans, no one is perfect. Placing people on pedestals only makes their fall harder to bear. We dislike problems we see with people, but conversely, if a person seems faultless (an illusion), we despise them.

Perfection

is an illusion.

No human is a bastion

of only goodness,

spotlessness.

Every rose has its thorn.

Why is it we scorn

Imperfection,

yet equally its

antithesis?
