Dawn on the Lake

This post was written in 2 minutes.
I grew up on a lake in Maine and spent my youth enjoying the water and the woods. This week’s writing prompt isn’t for me, because I never had a dream job in mind. I just knew that I didn’t want to be part of the rat race in some big city, trying to save up enough money to buy a retirement home in Maine. I decided I would rather just live here and get to enjoy it for my whole life, instead of waiting until I was too old to relish it.

Fog begins to lift.
Peace drifts across the water.
Morning sun rises.

If you aren't careful you are going to motivate me to quit school and move back to Maine.
