I bled my dreams, and aspirations
before your solemn stare; open and
wounded by your bitter tongue
and watched your eyes fall coolly
over what I had done

You shook your head slowly
and smiled half undone, and
when the music drifted from
down the hall - it was all you
could do but run and fall below
the throne of the daughter
who would always be

number one.

Welcome to the site, Azaleen! When you visit your writing page ("My Page" / "Writing"), next to the title "Eclipse" you'll see a picture of a pen. Click on that and you can edit your piece. That way you can remove the extra title line if you want to!
